The Roanoke Greenway Habitat Project Initiative is currently being organized and spearheaded by Barters Group LLC, a Virginia-based company focused on economic development, local business growth, wellness initiatives, sustainability, tourism, and community-centered redevelopment within the Roanoke Region.
Barters Group LLC is serving as the primary organizational coordinator during the early planning and development stages of this initiative. Responsibilities currently include:
Coordinating communications regarding the project
Establishing institutional and community partnerships
Engaging with potential investors, donors, sponsors, and tenants
Organizing project planning and outreach efforts
Assisting in the creation of a dedicated development board and advisory structure
Coordinating public fundraising initiatives and development campaigns
Facilitating early-stage project planning and economic development discussions
At this stage, Barters Group LLC is acting solely as an organizational and administrative lead for the conceptual development and fundraising efforts associated with the Roanoke Greenway Habitat Project Initiative.
All donations, sponsorships, grants, investment contributions, crowdfunding proceeds, and other financial support collected specifically for the Roanoke Greenway Habitat Project Initiative shall be allocated exclusively toward project-related planning, development, fundraising, engineering, legal, architectural, environmental, operational, administrative, community outreach, or construction-related activities associated with this initiative.
All project-designated funds will be maintained within separate and dedicated financial accounts specifically established for this initiative.
Barters Group LLC agrees to maintain financial transparency regarding project fundraising totals and funding allocations associated with the initiative.
Public reporting may include:
Total donations received
Total sponsorship contributions
Total grant funding received
Total investment commitments
General project expenditures
Public budget updates
Development allocation summaries
Budget reporting and public financial summaries are expected to be made available through:
Greenway Habitat Budget Portal
While financial totals and allocation summaries may be disclosed publicly for transparency purposes, individual donor identities, personal information, and confidential investor information are not required to be publicly disclosed unless otherwise authorized by the donor, sponsor, investor, or required by law.
Contacting, communicating with, donating to, sponsoring, or expressing interest in the Roanoke Greenway Habitat Project Initiative or Barters Group LLC does NOT guarantee:
Partnership approval
Sponsorship approval
Investment acceptance
Tenant approval
Vendor selection
Project participation
Advisory board inclusion
Operational involvement
Development rights
Naming rights
Future occupancy within the proposed facility
All partnerships, sponsorships, tenancy opportunities, development participation, and investment relationships remain subject to:
project review,
financial review,
legal review,
zoning and regulatory approval,
institutional collaboration,
future development structuring,
and formal written agreements.
No verbal discussions, public statements, fundraising participation, or informal correspondence shall be considered legally binding agreements.
Barters Group LLC is currently collecting expressions of interest from potential businesses, organizations, institutions, and wellness operators that may wish to participate in the future project.
However:
No tenancy approvals, lease agreements, occupancy guarantees, or operational commitments are currently being granted or implied.
Submission of interest forms or participation in project discussions does not guarantee future tenancy or occupancy rights within the proposed development.
Barters Group LLC agrees that personal contact information voluntarily submitted during:
fundraising,
sponsorship inquiries,
investment discussions,
mailing list participation,
project updates,
or community outreach
will not be knowingly sold, distributed, or shared with unrelated third parties for commercial marketing purposes.
This includes:
phone numbers,
email addresses,
mailing addresses,
and personally identifiable contact information.
Information collected may only be used for:
project communication,
development updates,
investor relations,
sponsorship outreach,
community engagement,
fundraising coordination,
and operational planning associated with the initiative.
Barters Group LLC reserves the right to maintain internal records and communications necessary for project administration and legal compliance.
The Roanoke Greenway Habitat Project Initiative is currently in the conceptual planning, outreach, partnership development, and fundraising phase.
All conceptual renderings, projections, designs, financial estimates, development concepts, architectural mockups, business projections, economic studies, and proposed partnerships are preliminary in nature and remain subject to:
engineering review,
financial feasibility,
zoning approval,
environmental review,
institutional participation,
public approval processes,
grant availability,
investment acquisition,
and future development planning.
Project scope, design, partnerships, and operational structure may evolve over time.
The mission of this initiative is to pursue a transparent, community-centered redevelopment strategy focused on:
wellness,
sustainability,
outdoor recreation,
education,
tourism,
public safety,
economic development,
and long-term community impact within the Roanoke Region.
Barters Group LLC believes projects of this nature should be developed with public engagement, institutional collaboration, and community transparency at the forefront of the process.
